Drake teamed with Bad Bunny for the production of MIA (2018), while Madonna worked on Medellin with Maluma (2019). The mainstreaming of reggaeton was an issue for certain performers in 2020. Rauw alejandro and a younger generation determined to maintain the style. He incorporated electronic dance styles and other genres into his songs.
