Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is a Canadian actress from Canada. Paquin is a native of Canada and New Zealand actress. She was born in Winnipeg but brought up in Wellington the city where she was born, she made her first acting appearance in The Piano. In this romantic drama film at the age of 11, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on July 24, 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actor and New Zealander who, at the age of a youngster, was awarded an Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding supporting actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Canada and moved from the city to New Zealand as a young kid. After responding to a call for open auditions at age nine and having no acting experience before that when she was selected for the role of Flora McGrath part. Flora was the daughter of a Scottish pianist who was mute. The couple relocated into New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century to get married. She moved to the United States as a teen. Paquin played the lead role in Fly Away Home in 1996 as well as a brief appearance as Jane Eyre in the film when she was just a young child. Paquin was Frankie Addams in a 1997 film adaptation for television of Carson McCullers's novel The Member of the Wedding and also played a part as Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). The role she played was for teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000). Also, she was the character of the teenage groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on Almost Famous (2000).
